An Ennis man is in full training to swim the 21-mile English Channel – and is attempting to raise thousands for charity in the process.
Evan Cronin has been preparing for the event for the past two years and will take to the water in September of next year.
He’s been training in Active Ennis as well as Ballyalla Lake and hopes to raise a minimum of €25,000 for children’s charity Make-A-Wish.
