Ennis Injury Unit Looks To Relieve Pressure From UHL

People are being urged to utilise the Injury Unit at Ennis General Hospital in the event of an accident, as efforts continue to alleviate pressure on the Emergency Department.

Throughout the pandemic, the ED at University Hospital Limerick has been prioritised for COVID-19 cases and seriously ill non-COVID patients.

The UL Hospitals Group’s three injury units at Ennis, Nenagh, and St John’s Hospitals are open seven days a week to treat all manners of non-life-threatening injuries.
