Ennis Hospital Opens Room For Families Of Terminally Ill Patients

Terminally ill patients and their families will now have a more comfortable experience in the county’s main hospital.

The newly-opened Oak Room opened at Ennis General Hospital will provide a rest, shower and beverages facilities for families of loved ones coming to the end of their lives.

The room was developed at Ennis with the help of a €50,000 capital investment from the HSE, and is part of the phased redevelopment of the old hospital building.
