An Ennis haridresser insists it’s time to give back to frontline workers by re-opening hair salons for those who are fully vaccinated.
The Irish Haridressers Federation has made the call, saying it would provide an essential boost to the mental health and wellbeing of elderly people, who have been cocooning for over a year and to the heroic frontline healthcare workers.
Owner of Foxy Hair Salon in Lifford, Eilish Moloney believes every step has been taken by all in the industry to ensure the safety of both staff and customers attending salons.

She says only a small number of cases were associated with salons last year and believes by easing restrictions on them, a much needed boost would be given to both workers and salons themselves.
