Ennis Gardaí Urge Care On Roads As Cold Snap Continues

A low temperature weather alert has ended but the cold snap is set to continue for a number of days.

Met Eireann says it could drop to minus 4 tonight, compounding the icy conditions already seen over the weekend.

The sub-zero conditions have already caused disruption on the roads, with a number of crashes reported in Ennis and West Clare this morning – one person was taken to hospital with minor injuries following a collision on the Shanaway road.
