Ennis Company Celebrates National Accolade

An Ennis businessman is hoping to use a prestigious national award as an impetus to further expand his company.

Terry Fox of Cupprint was the winner of the Emerging Category at the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards which were held in Dublin last night.

His firm is based at the Ballymaley Business Park, manages bespoke paper cups, and employs 63 people, having been set up with seven employees in 2009.

Terry isn't the only local entrepreneur celebrating today, however, as three local businesspeople have also been honoured for their efforts.

Fashion designer and Kilnamona based Regina Tierney of Brigid's Mantle won top prize in the search for Clare's Best Young Entrepreneur, an initiative organised by the Clare Local Enterprise Office.  

Other category winners are Steve Markham of hAppie – a boutique mobile application developer and publisher – and Eric Gargiulo of Delivery Guys Ltd., an end to end ordering, payment and delivery service to the restaurant sector
