Ennis ‘Cleaner Than European Norms’ As National Picture Worsens

IBAL’s latest litter survey highlights Ennis as one of just eight towns that are considered ‘cleaner than European norms.’

A former winner of the title as Ireland’s cleanest town, Clare’s county town has seen its ranking improve to 6th place in the latest results from the Irish Business Against Litter Group.

Sites such as Abbey Street Car Park, Tim Smythe Park and Clare County Museum were earmarked as being ‘well presented and maintained’.

Gort Road Business Park was the most heavily littered site surveyed in the town.
