Ennis Chamber President Welcomes Ongoing Downward Trend In Live Reg Figures

The President of Ennis Chamber has welcomed the ongoing downward trend in Live Register figures in this county.

The latest figures from the CSO show the number of people claiming some form of unemployment benefit in the county has dropped below the 5,000 mark for the first time in three months to 4,876.

Ennis saw the highest drop, with 84 leaving the dole queues in February, while there was a fall of 47 in North Clare, 25 in East Clare and only 13 signed off in West Clare.
