Two People Brought To Safety After Boat Suffered Engine Failure On Lough Derg

Two people have been brought to safety after their boat suffered engine failure on Lough Derg.

The Lough Derg RNLI was dispatched shortly before 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon, after the 27 foot cruiser began to drift off Mountshannon Harbour.

The vessel was located East of Scilly Island shortly afterwards and both people onboard were found to be safe and unharmed and wearing their lifejackets.
