One Person Taken To Hospital Following Ennis Road Crash

One Person has been taken to hospital following a road crash in Ennis this morning.

The single vehicle collision happened on the Tulla Road in the town shortly before six o’clock.

Units from Clare County Fire Service, Gardaí and Ambulance attended the scene, which has since been cleared.

One person was taken by ambulance to University Hospital Limerick, where they’re being treated for minor injuries.

Separately, two cars have been involved in a collision on the R473 Ennis Road on the Ballynacally side of Kildysart just before 8am.

Gardaí say the road is passable but they’re urging motorists to slow down and drive with care in the area.

There are no reports of any major injuries.
