Marty The Seagull Nursed Back To Health After Being Rescued By Killaloe Coast Guard

A seagull that got trapped in a buoy on Lough Derg is being nursed back to health after being rescued by the Killaloe Coast Guard.

The unlucky bird managed to get trapped inside the navigation buoy where it was stuck for a number of days, with one local feeding the bird in between attempts to get him out.

Eventually, the Coast Guard unit came to the rescue and managed to free the gull, which they have named Marty, and brought him to a local vet.
