Flood water levels in Springfield, Clonlara are said to be dropping again today.
A spell of heavy rain on Monday led to a temporary worsening of the situation that’s been facing the residents there in recent weeks, which led to some being evacuated from their homes.
Now, focus is turning to a longer term solution, with Clare County Councillors expected to vote on revised flood defence plans in their April meeting.
