Clare County Fire and Rescue Service is asking boys and girls in Clare to make sure their families have had the chimney cleaned, ahead of Santa’s arrival.
Final preparations are underway at the North Pole ahead of Christmas Eve, with Santa well and truly focused on his task at hand.
But before he comes down the chimney of millions of homes around the world next week, the acting chief fire officer in Clare says it’s important to clean out chimneys – both to keep Santa safe and ensure that there is no risk of fire.
