Fianna Fáil Criticised In Clare For Stance On Housing Minister Vote

An East Clare Social Democrats representative has described Fianna Fáil’s decision not to back their motion of no confidence in the Housing Minister as a cynical move.

The party says it’s time for Minister Eoghan Murphy to go, citing the growing number of homeless people in this country as their main concern.

However, Fianna Fáil says if they lend their support to the motion, it would only trigger an election which isn’t something the party wants until after Easter, meaning they will abstain in the vote.
