First Clare FM General Election Debate To Take Place

Five Dáil hopefuls will go head-to-head in the first of the Clare FM General Election debates this morning.

Fine Gael Senator Martin Conway, outgoing Fianna Fáil TD Timmy Dooley, Green Party Councillor Róisín Garvey and Independents Trudy Leyden and David Barrett will set out their stalls to the electorate in Clare.

The issues of health, crime, tourism and Shannon Airport will all be up for discussion on the debate, which gets underway on today’s Morning Focus from 9am.
