Eir says it cannot yet confirm when it will resolve repeated service issues in parts of West Clare.
The company has told Clare FM that it has a team of engineers working on the issue which is impacting mobile services in Miltown Malbay and surrouding areas.
A number of local representatives have raised the issue with the company, while Clare Independent TD Michael McNamara cited the case as he told the Tanaiste that Comreg should be given additional powers to fine companies that don’t meet their service obligations.
The Scarriff Deputy says communications infrastructure has never been more important.

We are waiting on a confirmed time for that resolution.
Restoring full-service as quickly as possible is our priority.
