Three Clare Schools Chosen In Latest Round Of ‘Creative Schools’ Initiative

Three Clare schools have been announced in the latest round of the ‘Creative Schools’ initiative, which sees funding rolled out to enable children to reach their creative potential.

Scoil Cholmcille in Clouna, Kildysart’s Saint John Bosco Community College and Scoil Na Maighdine Mhuire in Newmarket on Fergus have been chosen out of over 300 applicants nationally.

The programme sees schools provided with a package of support which includes funding and the expertise of a Creative Associate to work with them directly.

This then enables the pupils and teachers to explore the potential impact of the arts and creativity on school life.
