Rapid Build Extension To Be Considered To Deal With Capacity Issues At Ennis School

A rapid build extension is being considered as a solution to serious capacity issues at Ennis schools.

Secondary School Principals this week met with Department of Education officials as part of efforts to find additional places for pupils, and a report will soon be presented to the Education Minister.

Enrollment lists have now been shared among 12 schools to identify instances where pupils have accepted more than one school place.

Last month, 40 students due to finish primary school were still awaiting confirmation of a place in a school this coming September.
