The Education Minister has indicated that he expects plans for a new second level school in Ennistymon to go to tender in the New Year.
The long-awaited project will being the 600+ students of the town’s existing three schools under one roof in a new state of the art facility.
Planning permission was granted for works in 2018.

Responding in the Seanad to local Senator Martin Conway, Minister Joe McHugh said he expected the tender process to begin by March, and that it would be finished next year.
