During the course of this inspection, meetings were held with the principal, board of management and parent nominees.

Inspectors also interacted with pupils, examined their work and observed teaching at the school.

It was found that the pupils’ overall learning is good, though it was noted that there was room to improve early reading skills.

The support for pupils’ well being was praised as being of a very high standard, with teachers committed to nurturing holistic development.

However, the inspectors have also recommended that the provision of services for students with special education needs should be examined.

In response, the Board of Management has said the report is welcome and that the recommendations have been, and will continue to be, reviewed on a regular basis.
