Clare ASTI Rep Says Teachers Were Left With ‘No Choice’ But To Teach Remotely

Clare’s ASTI Representative says teachers were left with no option but to teach remotely.

The Government has made a u-turn on bringing leaving cert students back to school for three days a week, and they will now be taught remotely instead, until at least the end of this month.

The change in approach came amid pressure from teaching unions the ASTI and TUI who said their members wouldn’t teach in class.
