Calls are being made for direct transport links to be put in place between the Ennis and Limerick campuses of LIT.
While already up and running, the ceremony for the official opening of the new campus on Bindon Street takes place this morning.
Independent Barefield Councillor Ann Norton is calling for stronger public transport links between the Ennis campus and Limerick, to encourage prospective students to take up places on courses here.
