The Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board says it’s pooling its resources into West Clare, following some stark findings in a recent survey of the county.
The study published by Clare County Council revealed a number of insights into life in the Banner County, with transport highlighted as one barrier to living in rural areas.
It also found that the west of the county is something of an unemployment blackspot, with little access to further education to help reverse that trend.
