Concern That Black Friday Will Damage Christmas Trade

The Commercial Director of an Ennis-based retail lobby group is expressing concern that Black Friday will damage Christmas trade for Clare businesses.

Tomorrow will see consumers out in their droves for a bargain, with shops across the country slashing prices for the occasion.

It began as an American phenomenon and has become a staple of the calendar in Ireland in recent years.
