Breen Downplays Concerns About Future Of Analog Devices Jobs

Clare’s Junior Jobs Minister is downplaying concerns about the future of jobs at one of the region’s biggest employers.

It comes amid fears of a temporary three-day shutdown of Analog Devices in Limerick early next month following Donald Trump’s blacklisting of Huawei.

The tech firm, which employs 1,200 people at its European headquarters in the Midwest, produces chips for devices used by Huawei.
