Almost 1,400 Community Employment Supervisors Expected To Vote Through Ballot On Industrial Action

Almost 1,400 Community Employment supervisors – including close to 30 in Clare – could be downing tools in a dispute over the right to a pension.

The workers are voting in a ballot for industrial action, which could include a strike, after they said the government is failing to implement a Labour Court recommendation around the pension issue.

The ballot is expected to pass.
