New figures have revealed that there’s been a 4% increase in the number of jobs created by Enterprise Ireland-backed firms in Clare in the past 12 months.
There’s now a total of 4,325 people across the county employed in companies supported by the agency, with Clare’s Junior Minister Pat Breen saying it reflects the ability and ambition of local exporters.
The data also shows that almost two-thirds of the job creation has been outside of Dublin.
