Early Stage Work On National Broadband Plan Underway In Parts Of Clare

Early stage work is underway in Clare on the rolling out of broadband to homes as part of the National Broadband Plan.

However, it will be at least some time before homeowners will be able to find out when they will be connected.

Minister Eamon Ryan has told an Oireachtas Committee that surveys, which are part of the early stages of rolling out broadband to homes, have begun in parts of East and South-East Clare, along with the establishment of other broadband connection points in other locations here.
