A €3 million custom-built ship is being developed to take tourists from Clare’s west coast to the Aran Islands.
Doolin2Aran Ferries will add the 26 metre vessel to its fleet in time for this year’s tourist season.
The boat will have the capacity to carry 200 passengers and will be the fastest domestic cruise ship in Ireland’s waters once it makes its maiden voyage.
