Seven community projects in Clare are to share funding under the 2020 CLÁR programme.
The scheme targets investment in rural areas, and in particular areas which have previously suffered significant disruption.
The funding for Clare will see works to improve safety infrastructure, such as footpaths, public lighting, pedestrian crossings at National Schools in Broadford, Lakyle and Kilnamona, as well as other works in Kilnaboy and Kilkee.

Meanwhile funding has also been provided for recreation areas in Lissycasey and Kilmihil.
