€2 Million Announced For Repairs On Clare’s Roads

Just over two million euro has been announced for works on Clare’s road network.

The money, provided by Transport Infrastructure Ireland, will be spent on improving and maintaining National Primary and Secondary Roads in the county.

400,000 of the fund will go towards three separate surface improvements including at Grattan Street, Kilkee, while 100,000 has been allocated for Blake’s Corner in Ennistymon.

Other improvements will be carried out on the N19 Access Road to Shannon Airport, and on the N85 at Kilnamona, while the funding for maintenance includes 180 thousand euro for works on lighting.
