€180,000 In Funding Announced For Six Community Organisations In Clare

Over €180,000 in funding has been announced for six community and voluntary organisations across Clare.

The money has been provided from the Dormant accounts fund and is designed to support critical services for the most vulnerable in society.

Clarecare and Slainte an Chlair are the biggest beneficiaries here, sharing a total of 132 thousand euro.

Clare Suicide Bereavement Support and community projects in Crusheen, Kildysart and East Clare will also benefit from the scheme, with the resources forming part of an overall €11 million Covid-19 Stability Fund package from Government.
