Close to €15m will be paid out to Clare businesses this year under the key government schemes designed to support forms through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Under the Restart Grant and Restart Grant Plus schemes, the Council says it has administered €11.4m to over 1,700 businesses across the county.
And while the scheme has now closed, the local authority says it expects to pay out a further 3 million euro to applicants.

The Restart Grants scheme is being replaced by a new COVID Restrictions Support Scheme, which was announced during the Budget and is being operated by Revenue Commissioners.
