DUP Rubbish Sinn Fein Calls For Intervention In Stormont Talks

The DUP have ridiculed a Sinn Fein call for the British Prime Minister and the Taoiseach to intervene in the Stormont talks crises.

The Party’s negotiator Edwin Poots was responding to John O’Dowd’s call for Theresa May and Leo Varadkar to intervene as a matter or urgency.

Mr O’Dowd said the main sticking point for his party was the establishment of an Irish Language Act.
