Drugs, Tobacco And Cash Worth Quarter Of A Million Seized In Limerick

A man has been arrested after a quarter of a million euro worth of drugs, tobacco and cash were seized in Limerick in a crackdown on criminal gangs.

It follows the search of a business premises off Davis Street in a joint operation by gardai and customs officers yesterday morning.

100 thousand euro worth of cannabis and controlled drugs, 170 thousand cigarettes, 60 thousand euro worth of tobacco and 20 thousand euro in cash were found.
