Joe Healy, president of the IFA (Irish Farmers’ Association) was unimpressed by the lack of support from the government for farmers affected by the drought.
He’s calling now for the government to provide low cost loans to farmers to help alleviate the cost of feeding animals while there is a grass shortage.
