Drop In Number Of Dogs Being Destroyed In Clare

The number of dogs put down in the County has dropped sharply over the past four years.

Two hundred and seventy dogs were euthanised in 2014, while only eighteen were put to sleep up to June 30th of this year.

The reduction is largely down to the rescue and rehousing efforts of Baby Dog Rescue, which has rehomed dogs in Ireland, the UK, Italy, Germany and Switzerland.
