Drop In Call Outs For Kilrush RNLI

Kilrush RNLI says the number of rescues they’ve carried out this year have been reduced significantly as a result of a water safety initiative.

The voluntary group received 15 emergency call-outs in 2016 and so far this year there have been just three.

The Respect the Water initiative sees the RNLI team up with GAA and community clubs in an effort to educate people about what to do in an emergency.
