Dip In UHL Overcrowding

The level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital has dipped today.

The latest figures from the INMO show 20 people were waiting on trolleys at University Hosptial Limerick today, 17 of those in the emergency department.

It’s half the figure of the country’s busiest hospital, the Mater in Dublin, where 40 people are waiting to be admitted.
