Deputy Dooley Calls On Ross To Intervene In Bus Éireann Dispute

Clare’s Fianna Fáil TD says he has little faith that the Bus Éireann strike can be averted, unless the Transport Minister intervenes in the dispute.

So far Shane Ross has refused to be drawn into the cost-cutting argument, despite threats by unions to go on all-out strike from Monday.

Management meanwhile have decided to close three routes and reduce another two.
