Delight is being expressed in Scarriff after the local community scooped a national prize at this year’s Tidy Towns Awards.
The Public Clock Project won the National Schools Award at yesterday’s ceremony in Dublin.
The copper clock was built in conjunction with children from Scarriff National School, with pupils designing their own pieces.
