Delay In Leaving Cert Results “Unfair” To Students

Clare’s Independent TD has described the decision to delay the leaving cert results as “unsatisfactory”.

Education Minister Norma Foley last night confirmed that the country’s 60,000 students won’t receive their calculated grades until September 7th, instead of mid-August.

CAO offers will be issued four days later on September 11th, meaning it could be October before many start third-level courses.
