Delay In Leaving Cert Results ‘Disappointing’ And ‘Disrupting’

At least one Ennis student has seen her study plans thrown into potential disarray by the delay in Leaving Cert results.

Last week Minister for Education Norma Foley announced that leaving certs won’t know how they fared until September 7th, three weeks later than usual.

But Aisling Flouch, a student at Colaiste Mhuire, is planning to study in the Netherlands with her courses starting on September 1st.

She says the delay is leading to undue stress.
