Deferring Property Tax Changes Is Sensible – Dooley

Clare’s Fianna Fáil has described the decision to defer changes to the property tax as “sensible”.

Reform of the tax is being delayed until an Oireachtas Budgetary Oversight Committee considers a review into how it’s applied to homeowners.

The valuation date has been deferred until November 1st 2020, meaning there will be no change to the rates people pay until 2021.
