Opposition against cuts to Shannondoc in Clare have rejected the findings of a review of the GP-out-of-hours service.
Shannondoc’s told Clare FM that it has surveyed patients and doctors affected by the changes and insists satisfaction levels are high.
But a local committee says it has collected over 4,000 signatures calling for the service to be reinstated, as well as details of multiple complaints about delays in accessing out of hours appointments since the rationalisation.
