It has been claimed that the family at the centre of the Grace case continued to take children into care until two years ago.
The Dáil’s heard allegations that although Grace was removed from the home in 2009, the family still offered fostered care until 2015.
Independents4Change TDs Clare Daly and Mick Wallace revealed how they had brought the claims to the Health Minister Leo Varadkar at the time.
