A cyclist is recovering in hospital after he was injured in a road traffic collision in Ennis.
The incident happened at the roundabout on the Limerick Road, close to St Flannan’s College, around 8 o’clock last night.
An ambulance, rapid response advanced paramedic unit and several garda units also attended the scene.

The road was closed for a time to facilitate a technical examination of the scene but re-opened at around 9.30 last night.
The driver of the car was said to be shaken but uninjured. Gardaí are investigating the incident.
