Worst Year Yet For Clare Parents Facing Back To School Costs

It’s feared this year could be the worst year in some time, for Clare parents facing back to school costs.

Clare Area President of St Vincent de Paul, Niamh McDonnell is urging parents not to be afraid to reach out for help in uncertain times.

It comes as a new report has been revealed that 63% of parents in the Munster region reported costs associated with their children going back to school as a ‘financial burden’, with just under a quarter saying they’ll go into debt this year.
