A tragic Clare father who died in a tragic Lahinch drowning last weekend is being laid to rest today.
Coolmeen man Fran Harding, who was originally from Tipperary, got into difficulty while swimming at Lahinch on Sunday and was taken to University Hospital Limerick, where he later died.
His son, 15-year-old Shay Moloney, died in a double drowning alongside his friend Jack Kenneally at a disused quarry on the outskirts of Ennis just over a year and a half ago.

Fran is survived by his wife Sarah-Jane, with whom he had been expecting a new baby later this year.
