Swimming Banned At Five Clare Beaches Ahead Of Bank Holiday Weekend

Swimming restrictions are being implemented at three more Clare beaches.

A swimming ban has been implemented at Spanish Point and White Strand, Miltown Malbay, while a swimming advisory warning against swimming has been put in place at Lahinch.

The swimming ban at Kilkee and Quilty front beach also remains in place.


Clare County Council has implemented the restrictions on the advice of the HSE after heavy rain led to elevated levels of bacteria in the water.
